Teach Claude One SkillArabic

🔧 Claude Code
Claude Code

🔧 Visual Studio Code
1️⃣ حمّله مجاناً من code.visualstudio.com
Markdown

Teach Claude One Skill
You do not need to explain yourself from scratch every session once you teach Claude once, properly.

Most people treat Claude like a search engine they have to brief again at the start of every conversation. Same instructions, same tone notes, same context every single time. Claude is capable of something smarter: you write your instructions once, save them as a reusable skill, and trigger the whole thing with a single word for every session after that. That shifts Claude from a general chatbot into a tool you personally designed.

🧩 What it actually is

A skill is a plain text file you write once and store where Claude can find it. Instead of typing "write this in my tone, with this structure, following these rules" at the start of every conversation, you type one word like /tweet or /maqal and Claude already knows everything.

Think of onboarding a contractor. The first day you walk them through everything in full detail. After that, you hand them the brief and they get to work. A skill is that brief, written once, available every time.

⚙️ How it works

A skill file is a Markdown document that holds your full set of instructions. When you call it by its trigger name, Claude reads it immediately before generating any response. The whole system runs on three steps:

1️⃣ You write a file with the task description, your preferred style, and every rule Claude needs to follow
2️⃣ You save it in a dedicated folder with a clear, memorable name
3️⃣ In any new session, you type the skill name and Claude executes it without needing any additional explanation from you

The intelligence here is split between two parts: Claude handles the generation, and you designed the system it runs on. That combination is where the real power comes from.

🌍 Where you see it in your life

📱 A store owner teaches Claude to write product descriptions in their exact brand voice
✍️ A content creator locks in their writing tone and the editorial rules they never break
🎯 A marketer builds a skill that analyzes any ad and returns the same structured report every single time
🧑‍💻 A developer teaches Claude to review code according to their team's specific standards

🛠️ Tools you actually use

🔧 Claude Code
This is the primary environment where skills run. It is not just a chat interface. Claude Code lets you create and manage skill files, test them in live sessions, and refine them without switching between apps.
How to get started:
1️⃣ Go to claude.ai/code and sign in with your Anthropic account
2️⃣ Start a new session from the Claude Code interface
3️⃣ Use the file panel on the side to create a skills folder and save your skill files inside it

🔧 Visual Studio Code
A free, powerful text editor that is ideal for writing skill files in Markdown. It gives you syntax highlighting and a live preview so you can read your instructions as clean formatted text while you write them.
How to get started:
1️⃣ Download it free from code.visualstudio.com
2️⃣ Open the folder where you plan to store your skills
3️⃣ Create a new file with a .md extension and write your instructions in plain Markdown

💡 Try it yourself: step by step

Build a skill that writes a polished, professional tweet from any idea you give it.

1️⃣ Open VS Code or any text editor and create a new file called tweet.md
2️⃣ Write exactly this inside it:
Write one tweet under 280 characters. Tone is direct and confident. No hashtags. No excess emojis. The core idea lands in the first sentence.
3️⃣ Save the file in your skills folder, then connect it in Claude Code as a skill with the trigger word /tweet
4️⃣ In any session after that, type /tweet followed by your idea and Claude writes the tweet immediately with no briefing needed

What you get at the end: a personal tool that exists nowhere else. Any idea becomes a polished tweet in seconds, in your voice, every single time.

What to do next
✅ Identify the one task you repeat most often with Claude this week and turn it into your first skill
✅ Search "Claude Code skills system" to understand the full range of what skill files can handle
✅ Ask yourself: if I had an assistant who already knew exactly how I work, what would I teach them first?

The tool you build today is the most useful thing you can do for how you work tomorrow.
