ستة وكلاء ذكاء اصطناعي: أي وكيل لأي شغلة وكيف تبدأ بأمانSix AI Agents: Which One for Which Job and How to Start Safely

A clear map of six AI agents, three in the cloud and three on your own machine. After reading you will know which one fits your job, what it needs, and how to try it without giving it more access than it should have.

Who this guide is for

Anyone thinking about subscribing to an AI agent or running one on their own computer

Key terms

Agent
A program you give a goal instead of a question. It plans, uses tools and apps, and keeps working when you are not watching.
Cloud agent
An agent that runs on the company's computer. Easy to start, but the company holds the logins and data you connect.
Local agent
Open source software you install yourself. Usually free and fully yours, but setup and security are on you.
Skill
A file of instructions that teaches the agent one way of working, which it reuses every time.

The steps

  1. Step 1

Name the job before the tool

Write the job you want done in one sentence. For example, follow up on client emails every day, book and organise personal errands, or run a small team on a project.

Each of the six agents is built for a different kind of work. Start from the tool and you will pay for something you do not need.

    PromptPrompt to define the job
I am [your work in one line]. The thing that takes most of my time each week is [task]. Help me write one clear goal I can give an AI agent, and tell me whether the task needs access to my email, calendar, files or any account that can pay for things.
  2. Step 2

    Decide where the agent lives

The key question: does it run in the company's cloud or on your machine?

Cloud is easier. Sign up and go. But the company holds the logins for every app you connect.

Local gives you full control and is often free, but you install, update and secure it yourself.

Tip: If the job involves payments or client data, start with a tool that asks for your approval before sensitive actions.

  3. Step 3

    Pick from the cloud agents

dots by OpenAI: give it an ongoing goal and it keeps working in the background inside ChatGPT, and reaches you in Slack and Microsoft Teams. It needs Pro or Business Premium, and Pro users in the EEA, Switzerland and the UK cannot use it yet.

Muse by Meta: the personal agent. It books, buys, sends emails and fills forms. US only for now, 18 and over.

Grok Bot by xAI: a team of bots. Each account gets a cloud computer with a browser, files and a terminal, and the bots coordinate. It is in beta.

  4. Step 4

Or pick from the local agents

OpenClaw: open source. Run it on your machine or server and talk to it from Telegram, Slack or Discord like a contact.

Hermes by Nous Research: open source and free. After a complex task it writes itself a new skill and improves it with use.

MausBot: a chat app on your computer where every contact is a real agent such as Claude Code or Codex, running locally on your own subscription.

    curl -fsSL https://hermes-agent.nousresearch.com/install.sh | bash

Tip: Copy install commands only from each tool's official page, never from a video or a comment.

  5. Step 5

    Watch out for WhatsApp

Connecting an agent like OpenClaw to WhatsApp goes through an unofficial client. WhatsApp's terms ban automated use this way, and accounts have been banned.

If you want an agent in a chat app, Telegram has an official bot API. If it has to be WhatsApp, use a second number, never your main one.

Tip: Never connect the WhatsApp number that holds your work and family chats to an experimental agent.

  6. Step 6

Give it the least access possible

Start with one app. Let it read before it writes. Turn on approval before any send, purchase or delete.

Review the agent's activity log for the first week, then widen access one step at a time.

PromptRules to give the agent on day one
    Your rules with me:
    1. Do not send any message or email as me before you show me the text and I approve.
    2. Do not buy or pay for anything without my approval.
    3. Do not delete any file or message.
    4. If you are unsure about a step, stop and ask me.
    First goal: [goal]
  7. Step 7

Run a one week trial on one task

Pick one small task that repeats daily and run it for a full week. At the end ask: how much time did it save, and how often was it wrong?

If the answer is clear, keep it and add a second task. If not, try another agent from the map instead of paying for more.

Ready prompts to copy

PromptCompare two agents before you subscribe
I am choosing between [agent one] and [agent two] for this job: [job]. Compare them on where they run, what they cost, which apps they connect to, what access they need, and whether they are available in [your country]. Use official sources only and flag anything you cannot confirm.

The takeaway

No agent is the best. One fits your job and lives somewhere you are comfortable handing your keys.
