علّم وضع auto في كلود كود بيئة عملك بأمر واحدTeach Claude Code auto mode your environment
Learn how Claude Code auto mode decides what to allow, and how to tell it which repos and domains you trust so it stops blocking your daily work.
Who this guide is for
Developers and small teams who use Claude Code daily and are tired of approval prompts.
Key terms
- Auto mode
- A Claude Code mode that sends every action through a separate classifier model before it runs. Safe actions go through without a prompt. Risky ones are blocked.
- Classifier
- The separate model that reviews each action. It decides whether the action is safe or blocked.
- autoMode.environment
- A list of plain language sentences that describe your setup: trusted repos, domains and services. Anything outside it is treated as a suspicious destination.
- $defaults
- A special entry you put in a list to keep the built in rules and add yours on top. Leave it out and your list replaces the defaults completely.
The steps
Step 1
Know what auto mode blocks and allows
Auto mode blocks downloading and running code such as curl | bash, sending sensitive data to outside endpoints, production deploys, force pushes, and discards like git reset --hard.
It allows local file work in the working directory, installing dependencies from lock files, read only web requests, and pushing to any branch of the current repo.
The key point: the classifier trusts only the working directory and the repo's configured remotes. Everything else is blocked until you teach it.
