مش متأخر على الـ AI: عشر خطوات بالترتيب تبدأ فيها مع ClaudeYou Are Not Behind on AI: Ten Steps, in Order, to Start with Claude
A clear map from day one: teach Claude who you are, turn repeat work into skills, connect your apps, let tasks run on their own, then put what you know in front of people.
Who this guide is for
Anyone who feels behind on AI and wants to start the right way, technical or not
Key terms
- Skill
- An instruction file you write once. Claude follows it every time you ask for that job.
- Connector
- A link between Claude and an app you use, like Gmail or Notion, so it reads from it instead of you pasting everything.
- Scheduled task
- A request you write once that Claude runs on time, every day or every week, without you asking.
The steps
Step 1
Tell Claude who you are first
Level one is context. Open a new chat and tell it who you are, what you do and who you serve. Everything after builds on this.
The levels, in order: context, customise, create, connect, code, command. Do not jump to code on day one.
PromptIntroduce yourselfBefore we start, ask me 5 questions about my work: [my field], my audience, my goals this month and how I write. When I answer, sum up what you understood in one paragraph I can save.
Step 2
Customise how it answers
Once it knows you, tell it how you like replies: length, language and format. Save this in your project instructions or your notes so you never repeat it.
PromptStanding instructionsFrom now on: reply in plain language, short sentences, no intros. If my request is unclear, ask one question before you start. [add any other rule]
Step 3
Turn the prompt you repeat into a skill
Pick a job you ask for every week the same way, like a report or a client reply. Write its steps once in a SKILL.md file, and ask Claude to help you shape it.
Upload it from Customize, then Skills, then + and Create skill. Skills are on every plan and need file creation turned on in Settings.
PromptWrite the skillHelp me write a skill for a job I repeat every week: [job]. Write a SKILL.md with its name, when it runs, the steps in order and what the final result looks like. Keep it short and clear.
Tip: Start with one skill you will actually use, then add more.
Step 4
Connect your apps
From Customize, then Connectors, you can connect apps like Gmail, Google Calendar and Notion. Claude then reads your real files and messages instead of you copying and pasting.
Connect only what you need, and check what each one can do.
PromptFirst request after connectingLook at my calendar this week and my emails from the last two days, and tell me the 3 most important things to finish before [day].
Step 5
Build one place to track your work
Instead of work scattered across files and chats, keep one project with your notes, goals and everything you track. Every chat in it starts with the full picture.
PromptTracking boardHere are my notes on [the projects or things I track]. Put them in a table: item, status now, next step and date. Every time I send an update, update the table.
Step 6
Let tasks run on their own
In Cowork, open Scheduled in the sidebar and choose New task. Write the request and pick a frequency: hourly, daily, weekly or weekdays.
Tasks run on time even when your computer is asleep or the app is closed, unless they need local files. Available on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.
PromptMorning briefEvery day at 7 am: sum up yesterday's important emails and today's meetings in 5 points, with the one thing I should start with on top.
Step 7
Put what you know in front of people
You know things others need. Turn that into something online: a guide, a checklist or a free template. It brings the right people to you, and Claude helps you write it and publish it as a page.
PromptFrom know how to a guideI know [what I know well]. Suggest 3 ideas for a free guide or template that helps [my audience], pick the strongest and draft it in 7 steps.
Step 8
Post while you build, and aim at the outcome
Post what you are building even if it is not ready. People follow the journey. Before any request, ask: does this move me toward my goal, or does it just produce a file?
Pick one thing, build it, get stuck, work it out, then do the next one.
PromptA post about what you builtToday I built [what I built] with Claude. Write a short post in my voice: what the problem was, what I tried and what I learned. No hype.
The takeaway
You are not behind. Pick one step today and start.
