ثلاث بوتات في Grok Bot لثلاث حياة: للطالب، واللي يسافر، وصاحب البزنسThree Grok Bots for Three Lives: the Student, the Traveller and the Business Owner
Set up one Grok Bot for your own life: it collects your deadlines if you study, watches a fare if you travel, or sorts your invoices if you run a business. Then save it as a routine that runs on its own, with you approving anything sent or paid.
Who this guide is for
Anyone who wants to hand a repeat job to an agent: students, frequent travellers and small business owners.
Key terms
- Grok Bot
- A SpaceXAI product that gives you Bots that work for you. Each Bot has a cloud computer with a browser and files, and keeps working when your laptop is closed.
- Bot
- One AI teammate with a name and a job. You talk to it by text or voice, and it comes back when it needs your approval.
- Skill
- The saved steps of a job. You do it once with the Bot, then it repeats it the same way.
- Routine
- A schedule that tells a Bot when to run a skill, such as every day at 8 AM.
The steps
Step 1
Check you have Grok Bot
Per the official docs, Grok Bot comes with every paid individual Cursor plan and the Cursor Teams plan, and you can link a SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus or SuperGrok Heavy subscription. It runs on macOS, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android.
Usage resets weekly. Plans and availability change, so check the official page and your account before you start.

Step 2
For the student: a Bot that collects deadlines every morning
Create a Bot and name it something like Deadlines. Ask it to open your university portal and university email and pull every assignment or exam date into one list sorted by date.
The Bot asks for access to the sites it needs. You type passwords and codes yourself when it hands the step to you.
PromptStudent Bot setupYour name is [bot name]. You manage my study deadlines. Open [university portal] and [university email] and find every assignment or exam due in the next two weeks. Put them in a table: course, task, due date, days left. Rules: 1. Never email a professor or classmate. 2. If two deadlines clash, tell me. 3. If you cannot open a site, tell me. Do not guess.
Step 3
For the traveller: a Bot that watches a fare and asks before booking
Create a second Bot and name it Travel. Give it the route, the dates and the price that works for you, and have it check the airline or booking site and tell you when the price drops.
The key rule: it never books or pays. It sends you the price and the link, and you decide.
PromptTravel Bot setupYour name is [bot name]. You watch flight prices for me. Route: [from] to [to]. Dates: [outbound] and [return]. My price: under [amount] AED. Check [airline or booking site]. When you find a fare under my price, send me the price, the link and the flight times. Rules: 1. Never book or pay for anything. 2. If the site asks for a login or a check, stop and tell me.
Tip: Some sites block automation or ask for a fresh login. The Bot hands that step back to you.
Step 4
For the business owner: a Bot that sorts invoices and drafts replies
Create a third Bot and name it Accounts. Have it open your email, pull invoices and receipts into a sheet, and draft a reply to every supplier that needs one.
Drafts stay drafts. You review and send.
PromptAccounts Bot setupYour name is [bot name]. You handle invoices for [business name]. Open [email] and find the invoices and receipts that arrived this week. Add them to [sheet name] with these columns: supplier, date, amount, paid or not. If an invoice needs a reply, write a draft in my voice: [describe your voice in one line]. Rules: 1. Never send an email. Everything is a draft. 2. Never pay an invoice. 3. If a number is unclear, flag it and tell me.
Step 5
Save the job and make it a routine
Once the Bot finishes the job once and the result is right, ask it to save it as a skill, then create a routine that runs it on a schedule.
Per the official docs, routines run even while your laptop is closed. Before you turn one on, press Test and check it stops at approvals and reports failures clearly.

Then create a routine that runs it [every day at 8 AM] in the [UAE] time zone. If a source is missing or the data is stale, do not continue. Tell me why.
Tip: Start with one steady job. Add the second once you trust the first.
Step 6
Write approval rules for every Bot
A Bot comes back when it needs your approval, but you decide when that is. The official docs suggest asking first before sending, buying, deleting or publishing.
Note: all your Bots share one cloud computer, the same files and logins. Do not treat separate Bots as separate places.
PromptApproval rulesRules for all my Bots: Ask me before: 1. Sending any email or message. 2. Any payment, booking or subscription. 3. Deleting anything. 4. Publishing anything in my name. You do not need approval for reading, researching and writing drafts. When you ask, tell me what you will do, why, and what happens if I say no.
The takeaway
One Bot for one repeat job, and clear approval rules. It works. You decide.
