امسح أثرك من النت مع Claude: من البحث عن اسمك إلى طلبات الحذف الرسميةErase Your Digital Footprint with Claude: From Searching Your Name to Formal Deletion Requests
Find out what the internet shows about you, then let Claude sort it and write every deletion request, from old accounts to Google results and data breaches.
Who this guide is for
Anyone who wants less of their personal data visible online, without a lawyer or a developer
Key terms
- Digital footprint
- Everything visible about you online: search results for your name, old accounts, photos, and data that leaked in breaches.
- Data deletion request
- A formal message asking a company to erase your personal data. In the UAE, the Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021) gives you this right.
- Data breach
- When a site is hacked and user data, like emails and passwords, gets out.
- Two factor authentication (2FA)
- A second check after your password, like a code on your phone, so a stolen password alone is not enough.
The steps
Step 1
Search yourself and let Claude sort the results
Open Google and search your full name, then your email, then your phone number. Copy the result titles and links.
Paste them into Claude and ask it to group and rank them. You get a clear to do list instead of a mess.
PromptSort my footprintHere are the search results for my name, email and phone number: [paste results and links] Group them into: results with contact details, old accounts, breaches, photos and articles. Rank each group by deletion priority, with the action I should take for each result.
Tip: Never paste passwords or ID numbers into the chat. Titles and links are enough.
Step 2
Delete the accounts you forgot
Every forum or app you tried once still keeps your data. JustDeleteMe lists direct deletion links for many services, each with a difficulty level.
Search the service. If deleting is hard or unclear, ask Claude for the steps.
PromptFull deletionI want to delete my [service name] account permanently, not just deactivate it. What are the exact steps, and how do I confirm my data is actually erased?
Tip: Download a copy of your data first if you still need it.
Step 3
Send companies a formal deletion request
Some companies give you no delete button. Send a formal request to their privacy email, and Claude drafts it in a minute.
In the UAE, cite the Personal Data Protection Law. Companies in free zones like DIFC and ADGM have their own data laws, so ask Claude to adjust the request to where the company sits.
PromptDeletion requestWrite a request to delete my personal data from [company name] under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021). My details: [name, email, account number]. Ask for written confirmation once it is done. Formal and short, in Arabic and English.
Tip: Claude drafts the request but it is not a lawyer. Read it before you send it.
Step 4
Ask Google to remove your contact details
Google lets you request removal of results that show your address, phone number or email. Open the help page and tap Start removal request.
This removes the result from Google only. The information stays on the site itself, so you need to contact the site owner. Claude writes that message for you.
PromptMessage to the site ownerWrite a short, polite message to the owner of [site name] asking them to remove my personal data from this page: [link]. The data: [my phone / my address]. Reason: privacy.
Step 5
Check breaches and let Claude set the priorities
Go to Have I Been Pwned and enter your email. It lists the breaches your email appears in.
Paste the list into Claude and let it tell you what to do first: change the password, turn on two factor authentication, or delete the account.
PromptRank the breachesThese are the breaches my email appears in: [paste the list] Rank them by risk. For each one tell me: change the password, turn on 2FA, or delete the account? Start with accounts tied to money or my main email.
Step 6
Lock the door behind you
After the cleanup, keep the new footprint small: a different password for every account in a password manager, two factor authentication on the accounts that matter, and an alias email for new signups instead of your main one.
Search your name again every few months, and return to the same Claude chat so it picks up where you left off.
Ready prompts to copy
Here are the deletion requests I sent: [company, date, reply]. Build me a follow up table, tell me who has not replied, and write a reminder for each.
The takeaway
Claude does not delete for you, but it turns hours of work into a clear list and ready messages.
