Key terms

MCP
The Model Context Protocol. An open standard that lets Claude talk directly to tools like your calendar, Notion or Slack, without copy and paste or a custom integration.
MCP connector
A small server, running locally or remotely, that gives Claude a defined set of tools, such as reading upcoming events, creating a page or sending a message.
Re entry
Typing the same information two or three times into different tools. This is the real problem in meeting ops, not the note taking itself.
Integration token
A tool specific secret that lets a connector read and write in your workspace. Treat it exactly like a password.

The steps

  1. Step 1

    Install Claude Code and prepare the connector environment

    Most MCP servers run through npx, so you need Node.js on your machine first.

    Install Claude Code, check the version, then list your connectors. The list is empty for now. You fill it step by step.
